About Chloe

Chloe Green is a horticulturist and landscape designer who sees every garden as a living work of art. After receiving her degree in Horticulture from Clemson University, she moved to Charleston, South Carolina, drawn by the city’s famous historic gardens. She now runs her own landscape design firm, specializing in creating sustainable, beautiful spaces that are friendly to native pollinators.

Her design philosophy is rooted in the idea that a garden should be both aesthetically pleasing and ecologically functional. She has won several awards for her residential garden designs, which often feature native plants and innovative water conservation techniques. For EduEarth4U, Chloe shares her practical knowledge on everything from choosing the right plants for your climate to designing a garden that thrives year-round.

In her spare time, Chloe volunteers at the Charleston Botanical Garden and enjoys painting watercolors of the Lowcountry landscapes that inspire her work.

My Writing Philosophy

“A garden is a partnership between a person and nature. It’s a space for creativity, tranquility, and connection to the earth. My writing is meant to be your friendly guide in that partnership. Whether you have a tiny balcony or a sprawling backyard, I want to give you the confidence and the know-how to create a green space that brings you joy and benefits the world around you.”
