About Jessica

Jessica Miller is an award-winning wildlife photographer who has dedicated her life to capturing the untamed spirit of the natural world. Based in the heart of the American West in Jackson, Wyoming, she has the vast wilderness of the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone as her backyard. Her stunning images of grizzly bears, elusive wolves, and majestic eagles have been featured in numerous nature publications and galleries.

After graduating from the prestigious Rochester Institute of Technology, Jessica chose the challenging path of a wildlife photographer, driven by a desire to tell stories through her lens. She believes that a powerful photograph can do more to inspire conservation than a thousand pages of data. For EduEarth4U, she shares not only her breathtaking images but also the incredible stories of patience, perseverance, and respect for nature that go into each shot.

When she’s not tracking animals through the backcountry, Jessica leads photography workshops, teaching aspiring photographers how to capture nature ethically and responsibly.

My Writing Philosophy

“A camera is a tool, but a photograph is a bridge. It connects the viewer to a moment in time, to a creature they may never see in person. My goal is to build that bridge. Through my articles and photos, I want you to feel the cold mountain air, hear the bugle of an elk, and look into the eyes of a wild animal, so you understand just how precious and worthy of protection it all is.”
